We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Director, who will be focused on identifying and developing new partners and business within the pharmaceutical or medtech industry. You will get your own budget responsibility, and you will be responsible for developing our business with pharmaceuticals and medtech partners internationally.
Together with the leadership team, you define and execute a segment plan to build, drive and close customer and partner opportunities. You prospect and generate leads with the marketing team, and through your proactive efforts, you engage the rest of the organisation in acquiring new clients/partners and developing more business with existing partners.
This is great opportunity for someone who seeks an operational sales execution role that includes more strategic elements in developing, maintaining, and ensuring execution of a plan for the pharma market.
- Software/technology/services sales experience from the pharmaceutical, medtech or CRO industry.
- You have at least 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in this field.
- You are motivated by working with fixed goals and by creating results in a changing and agile world.
- You are a team player who naturally spreads positive energy to your surroundings.
- You have a relevant educational background, preferably a master’s degree.
- You are fluent in English and preferably one other European language.
- You create new business – both with existing accounts and new accounts.
- You have a great network in pharma – ideally also from the mental health and CNS space.
- You are structured with a high degree of CRM and forecasting discipline.
You are passionate about sales and business development in pharma. You thrive in a results-oriented, fast-growing, and entrepreneurial environment with international sales responsibility.
